Daniel was born in Newark, NJ. He studied art at Kutztown University in Pennsylvania, Mankato University in Minnesota, and in Dallas, Texas. After living and painting in Dallas for sixteen years, Daniel moved to Raleigh, NC, where he married his wife, Angkana, and where they are raising their son, Nathan.
Daniel was born with a passion for creating art. Drawing came naturally to him from early childhood, but it was the study of oil painting that focused his artistic passion. For Daniel, learning to see and to interpret color are the most exciting aspects of the painting experience.
